About Us
We are Veronika and Vašek, commonly known as V&V,... spouses, passionate travelers, nature enthusiasts, fans of excursions, warmth, swimming, good food, and last but not least, owners of the V&V Amadores apartment.
Five years ago, for our winter vacation, we chose the island of Gran Canaria. We settled on the northern part of the island in the capital city of Las Palmas, but the unpredictable weather soon led us to the southern part of the island, where it is much warmer, and the sun shines almost constantly.
During our journeys, we discovered the beautiful beach of Amadores, whose translation literally means "lovers' beach." The moment we approached it for the first time is still vividly etched in our memories. The closer we got to the beach, the more it attracted us like a magnet. Its charm completely captivated us, and since then, we have remained loyal to it. Even during the pandemic period, the Canary Islands were easily accessible, allowing us to enjoy this beach almost exclusively.
